Curtain Call Dancer Search
Curtain Call uses hundreds of dancers every year to showcase the products in our catalogs. If you have a dancer who is interested in modeling for us please fill out our online dancer search application. You may also print the form and mail the completed form and photos - see instructions below.

Who We Need:

Both male and female dancers, ages 3-23. Must have a love of dance, a strong background in technique, and a sparkling personality. Our photo shoot costume inventory is primarily available in all child sizes, adult female ASM-AME, and adult male sizes ASM-ALA.
Photo shoots take place during the week from January through May in Central PA. Dancers must be available to travel to the photo shoot location at their own expense. We do compensate dancers for their time, but do not reimburse for travel expenses.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I email or fax the form?
A: You may complete our online application which allows you to submit photos electronically. No faxes will be accepted.
Q: I missed the deadline. Can I still submit my form?
A: Yes. Forms are accepted year-round, but if forms are in by the deadline, they will be considered for all photo shoot opportunities. Late-arriving forms will be considered for any remaining shoots after date of receipt.
Q: When do you notify dancers that they have been selected?
A: Selected dancers are notified via email between December and April. We select dancers for each photo shoot as it comes up in our calendar, and take the entire spring to select dancers for the various sections of our catalog.
Q: Is this a paid modeling job?
A: Yes, dancers are compensated for their time.
Q: Are dancers that live in your area given preference over out-of-state dancers?
A: No, we select dancers from everywhere in the country. Our dancers travel to Pennsylvania from as far away as the West Coast, and we welcome the chance to provide opportunities to dancers nationwide.
Q: If I am not selected this year, does that mean I shouldn’t submit a form next year?
A: Because we have such a large pool of submissions each year (over 1,000), and there are a limited number of slots available for each size range, we are often unable to book all of the talented dancers we receive in our mailbox. We invite everyone to continue to submit a new form each year!
Q: If I modeled in the catalog last year, do I need to resubmit my information again this year?
A: Yes. We do keep dancer forms on file for one year, but they are shredded after that time for security purposes. Also, as the measurements and photos will change from year to year, it is important to have the most current information on file.
Q: I noticed on the form that I must provide a PA Performance Permit. What is this, and how can I obtain one?
A: If a dancer has a PA Performance Permit at the time of submission, it should be submitted with the Dancer Search Information Form. When a selected dancer is contacted about an upcoming shoot, they will be provided with all necessary paperwork to complete an Application for a PA Performance Permit. This permit will be issued for each dancer, regardless of state of residence.
